This valve is vital as it prevents the screw head from being immersed in lubricating oil for extended periods when the compressor is not in use, thus avoiding corrosion or coking.

1. Working Principle of Oil Shut-Off Valve in Jinjing Air Compressor

When the Jinjing air compressor is operating, the compressed air produced opens the oil shut-off valve, allowing the cooling oil to circulate in the system and cool the machine head screw. However, when the air compressor is idle, spring tension closes the oil shut-off valve core. This action stops the cooling oil in the oil-gas separator from returning to the screw. During operation, impurities in the air can mix with the cooling oil and may cause sedimentation and blockage in the oil shut-off valve, reducing the flow of cooling oil, and consequently affecting the cooling effect of the screw head.
